Depeche Mode’s Tour Of The Universe rolls again

Depeche Mode resumed their Tour Of The Universe last week in Leipzig. The tour had ground to a premature halt after singer Dave Gahan was diagnosed with a low grade malignant tumour in his bladder.
Twelve shows were cancelled or postponed as a result of Gahan’s illness.Gahan said of his return:

“I’m grateful to the fans for showing their support and thankful to my family, friends and all of the doctors who looked after me so well… Being back onstage is an incredible feeling and I’m looking forward to each and every show.”

The band will now continue across Europe, before heading to the U.S. in August.
